Trail Facelift

I was thankful for rain in southern California this Thanksgiving. Our forever dry trails finally got some good moisture. We've been shaving, shaping, and packing everything. The place should look brand new in a couple more days.

Steez Of The Week

Saw this sickness over on the Tonic blog. Billy Lewis rips. Plus he's a super chill, down to earth guy. Bonus SOTW points for Aaron Lutze wearing his bank robber get up in fly kicks!

Six Point Oh

Here's a little web edit that was posted on the Ride UK site. It's from last week when the European Nike 6.0 bmx team made a visit to LA. Andrew showed them around and took them out to our trails for a bit. It was a blast riding with those guys and watching them shred. Stefan had some of the best trail style I've seen in person. So sick.

Liquid Dirt

My buddy Aaron Hodgkin snapped this shot of me the other day. Tater gave some me some tips and I tried to apply a sepia tone to the photo. Have I mentioned how much I like doing moto whips on the bigger wheels?

Jake Kinney

Here's a few of those shots of Jake Kinney that Eric took while he was down in SD. Jake, if you see this, you should come up to LA and ride with us sometime.

Steez Of The Week

Carter posted this crazy picture of Hucker up on the Black Market site. That kid is unreal.

Speaking of the Black Market site. Carter also posted some pictures that Tater took in SD of this dude Jake ripping. I'll probably post them up here at some point, as well.

Human Race - Grey Boy

You might recognize this as a sample on DJ Shadow's Endtroducing. I could chill to this on repeat all day long...

New Spot

Here's a sneak peak at a new spot that's in the works. It's going to be insane.

My Simple Simple

I finally have my Simple up and running again. It now has a custom Black Market Contraband fork, 460 mm a2c, raw. I was sick of buying, breaking, and messing with suspension forks. Plus, I've been riding my bmx so much lately that I realized I don't need suspension. So, I wanted a quality rigid that was close in height to a sus fork so it wouldn't screw up the geo too much... that was a lot harder to find than it should be. I put a DMR revolver non-disc hub up front. It weighs in right at 25 lbs.

I love the way it feels and rides. Whenever I'm away from big wheels for too long, I forget how fun they are. Nothing feels like doing a big moto whip on bigger wheels. But, don't get it twisted... this thing is not a mountain bike. Haha.

Cameo

Jake recently told me about this video that I had never seen which features a cameo appearance by yours truly. I have no idea who made it and why I'm in it, but it's cool none the less. Joe P is awesome. That kid is seriously fearless.

Hollyween

The biggest Halloween party in the world goes down every year just down the street from my place. It's pretty wild. Hollywood is crazy in general. And on Halloween, it just gets a million times crazier. I'm glad I didn't wear my assless chaps...
